ice hockey and speed skating are my favourite events.

i super love ice hockey.

and i support team canada!

the game is so fast paced but yet the players can remain calm and composed especially when dribbling and scoring. their teamwork is superb you'll get goosebumps just by watching!

soon enough you'll find yourself sitting upright, feeling tensed and eventually screaming "YES!" when your team scores.

and for speed skating, the korean guys look super man!

i'm always very scared for the luge event because it's very accident prone;

they even had to cut short the track cos it was too dangerous.

and if you didn't know, 21 year old Nodar Kumaritashvili had a fatal crash while training.

it's very sad you know, he went all the way to vancouver, hopeful for a shot at the medals but it never happened. :(

to reiterate how dangerous it is -- the athletes can easily go up to speeds of 135km/hr.

and at that speed, ON ICE, you just can't stop that easily and get off the track.
