while watching discovery channel just now on Japan.

me: wah, Japan got so many inhabited islands ah! mummy i go buy one and build a house there to stay okay!
mother: what time is it now?
me: oh.. 9:15(pm)
mother: then you so early dreaming already ah?
me: (stunned for 3 seconds before realising she was suaning me)

-.- i genuinely thought she was asking me what time it was, cos she was doing her work so i thought she wasn't listening to me. (i kinda talk to "someone" when i watch tv but i don't expect a reply. same goes for my mom. everytime i talk to her while she's doing her work she won't reply me.)
