have I mentioned before that I like watching 'in the womb' on NGC?
a new season is out and I happily and excitedly watched it just now.
should've seen me squealing away, man.
well today's episode was on the cat family.
cats, lions, cheetahs.

basically, the births of the kittens and cubs were recorded (deliberately) on film.
but the cutest part was when the foetuses were still developing in the wombs.
very, very cute really. like soft toys.
you start seeing the hair grow and paws take shape.
eyes always shut and nose nicely formed.
and for lions, the claws are already very distinctive in the womb!
the newborns are quite fugly tho.
until they reach the age of 6 weeks.
epitome of the conventional cuteness.
