12:04 AM

this is (maybe) gonna be a wordy post.

i suddenly miss sajc alot.
whether it's malan road or potong pasir,
i had memories in both places.
good....and bad.

let's start with malan road!
all i remember about first 3 mths,
is sitting at the cafe drinking hot milo with larissa on a stormy day.
then we had plans to climb out of that 'hole' that everyone 'knew',
some 'hole' by the side of the tennis court.
i've never seen that hole before,
nor have i left school earlier than dismissal time.
(good girl.)

after first 3 mths,
i persuaded amanda to join the same class as me.
(don't know if i did more harm than good, cos she was struggling with bio for the next 2 years, oops :x)
but the people in that class sorta knew each other alr (during first 3 mths)
so amanda and i just stuck to each other.
then we got to know another pair of girls too!
mel and sheenaGOH, haha
well initially amanda and i would go 'okay let's wait for them' (when class ends or smth),
but they would just leave the class without us.
(damn jacked la. was damn saddening.
haha, i bet they didn't know.)
then slowly we sat together as a group in class (:
went for breaks together,
went home together,
did almost everything together.
(except going to the toilet
and coming to school together.)

oh yes, the 'elephant walk' tune that was played to get us out onto the track.
and then ms soh,
who would walk down the class row, taking attendance with a smile.
not forgetting the chinese teacher that we had,
i urm, ponned her lessons. go figure.

then there was the band life, the band table.
it was always overcrowded by the time the morning bells rang.
it's never empty.
(forever going people mugging there one.)
and of course the band room with the store room attached to it.
during warm ups nic and red would go in to 'slack'. (i think.)
haha, and the many scandals that i got into.
I HAVE TO DECLARE THAT:
I WASN'T INTERESTED IN ANYONE THAT FORMED PART OF MY SCANDAL.
(except 'your cousin!')

and then mooncake festival came!
where i got to know yuebing.
i got amanda mel and sheena excited,
cos it was a classic.
"like that also can meet ahhh."
the days with yuebing was quite fun.
i would drag the whole group to walk a particular route on a particular day cos i know yuebing's class would walk that way too.
(haha, i'm sucha stalker, yo. can go be PI alr)
AND OMGOSH,
SHEENA, MEL, REMEMBER HOW I GOT HIS NUMBER?
hahahah his class was just next to ours,
and when they ended sheena and i chionged out on the pretext of going to the toilet.
where i made some silly excuse to make him ask for my number.
tmd funny. HAHAHAHAH.
(sorry, i just recalled and felt the urge to type in caps in a moment of excitement.)
okay i have a confession to make,
i would secretly wait for him at hbf bus stop on somedays,
claiming that my bus was just in front of his.
then we would go school together (HAHA)
ohoh! and pw, where we found his groups's diskette randomly lying outside the lib!

talking about pw, our class damn hardcore in pw la.
kudos to everyone.
i remember sheena and amanda buying haagen dasz ice cream for mel and i after one heavy pw discussion. (they different group from us, so they ended earlier.)
much love.

the food. the FOOD!
okay the meepok is damn nice.
we would all go 'all meatballs, more chilli' (in chinese)
and prawn mee.
omg, the prawn mee is love.
the uncle even taught us to put chilli padi into our soup to make it taste better (:
(it was my first time adding chilli padi into soup noodles.)
mm, and the omelette rice thingy.
and chicken rice!
where we would share a big big bowl of soup.
what i remembered best about the cafe,
was it's layout.
a simple straight layout,
making it POSSIBLE to find almost anyone, anywhere in that cafe.

i'm almost done with malan road, and only malan road! haha.
the PINK bridge!
they say if you cross it back, and forth,
you'll do well in your studies!
and there's this dim sum advertistment that we never bothered about.
haha.

after school we would sometimes head to ikea for meatballs.
(i think we seldom went to hbf, unless it's for subway cookies.)
but i visited hbf's foodcourt with the bandies (esp nic, maddy, angeline) on a regular basis.
all in the love of lerki thai.
till now,i haven't found another lerki thai that's comparable to hbf's one. a pity it closed down. gahh)

i've been typing for one hour. damn tiring.

the toilets at malan road were scary.
according to don't know who,
(think it's some manual for going to the toilet)
1) take 3 steps away from the toilet bowl.
2) flush.
3) open the door and run out from the cubicle.
hhahahaha, cos the toilet will splash water out when you flush them.

i hated the container classrooms.
they smelt bad.
i always had this feeling that they'll collapse ANYTIME haha.
i liked the classroom blocks tho.
don't really know how to describe it here,
but it's like some french teahouse,
where two white blocks faced each other, separated by a lil park.
and in that 'park' there was a bench and pathways and many green trees.
oh one thing about the classrooms, there were no windows to see who's outside.
only small openings on the doors.
but they were all fully air conditioned =D

okay, this entry is really long but there's so much to say about malan road!
i really really really miss malan road like LOADS.
:(
